DBS checks are for organisations who are required to check the criminal convictions of prospective employees, or volunteers where the role requires it.
If the position doesn't meet the requirements for a Standard or Enhanced Check, then individuals can ask for a Basic Disclosure Check which will list their unspent convictions.
